Here I discuss all the nerdy things about vaccines, the immune system, and infectious disease, with a focus on debunking and pre-bunking dangerous misinformation relating to these subjects. Of course, nothing that appears on this blog should be taken as personal medical advice. For that, you should speak to the healthcare professional who manages your care.

In general, anything I post that is relevant to public health will not be behind a paywall. It is critically important that this information be accessible to anyone who needs it (or wants it). However, the right to comment on posts is limited to paid subscribers simply because making these posts is a lot of work and I can’t do it entirely for free (much as I would like to).

Additionally, on occasion I’ve been asked to write opinion-type pieces (e.g. what I think the most promising approach to a next-generation COVID-19 vaccine is) and because these are not directly relevant to public health, I restrict these posts to paid subscribers only as they are not directly relevant to public health.
